Tesla has entered the Indian market with the launch of the Model Y SUV. Priced at ₹60 lakh (RWD) and ₹68 lakh (AWD), the vehicles arrived via imports, incurring roughly ₹21 lakh in tariffs. Its first showroom opened in Mumbai, with plans to expand to Delhi. The move marks Tesla’s entry into India’s EV landscape, though local manufacturing is not yet confirmed
