Tether to launch new U.S.-based stablecoin “USAT”
Tether announced a new regulated stablecoin called USAT, aimed at U.S. residents. It will be issued by Anchorage Digital Bank and led by Bo Hines (formerly of the White House). USAT is designed to comply with the GENIUS Act and roll out by end of 2025.
