Athens International Airport, Greece's largest airport, is set to undergo a £540 million expansion to accommodate the increasing number of passengers. The current capacity of 26 million passengers per year is planned to increase to 40 million by 2032. The redesign includes a larger terminal building with covered gardens, additional lounges, shops, and improved passenger processing facilities.
