Premier League to Implement Semi-Automated Offside Technology
The English Premier League will adopt semi-automated offside technology starting April 12, following successful trials in the UEFA Champions League and FIFA World Cup.
The new system will use optical tracking and limb-based sensors to generate quicker and more accurate offside calls.
