📡 SpaceX advances its wireless ambitions. SpaceX has agreed to acquire Grain Management’s nationwide wireless spectrum portfolio in the 800 MHz band, a step toward expanding Starlink Mobile in the United States. The transaction remains subject to Federal Communications Commission approval and other closing conditions.
📱 Amazon introduces Alexa Tablets. Amazon’s new Alexa Tablet 12 Pro, 11, and 8 bring Android, Google Play Store access, and Alexa+ to its tablet lineup, with prices starting around $230. Amazon is phasing out new Fire-branded tablet hardware while continuing security support for existing devices.
🥤 PepsiCo reports growth and revises its outlook. PepsiCo’s third-quarter net revenue increased 5.6% compared with the same period last year, while organic revenue rose 3.1%. The company lowered its annual earnings outlook despite signs of improvement in its North American business.

🔐 ASOS explains its customer data breach. ASOS says attackers impersonated a trusted contact to obtain an employee’s login credentials and access information on third-party platforms. Some names, contact details, and account-related information were exposed, but the company says its investigation found no access to payment card information or customer account passwords. The October 8 update follows an unauthorized app notification sent on October 6.
